AuSpanish is a directory of businesses in Australia that serve customers in Spanish. The directory itself is only for those businesses, but this board is not: any employer in Australia can post here, in English, free. The site is written in Spanish because most of the people reading it are, and there is a tick box on the form for whether the workplace attends in Spanish; leaving it unticked changes nothing except which list the ad appears in.

One condition, and it is not ours. The ad has to say what it pays. Advertising a job in Australia without stating a rate at or above the legal minimum has been unlawful since 7 January 2023, and an unstated rate cannot be checked.

What the form asks, in order: título (job title), empleador (your business name), descripción (what the job is), tipo de contrato (casual, part time, full time, contract), ciudad and suburbio, a distancia (can be done remotely), cuánto paga and por (the rate and whether it is per hour, day, week or year), permiso de trabajo (a note about visa requirements), and cómo postularse (an email, a link or a WhatsApp number).

Nothing is published until you confirm it. We send a preview link to the address you give us, and the ad only exists once you click it. The preview and the emails are in Spanish; if you would rather have that conversation in English, say so in your reply and we will.
